The City of Jacksonville and local multicultural friends will bring the world to you with this fascinating cultural destination that showcases the unique diversity of our planet, and puts the wonderful sights, sounds, and tastes of different nations within your reach. So pack your bags and bring your family, friends and neighbors to Metropolitan Park for an exciting adventure around the world!

The 2017 World of Nations Celebration. Field trip day will be Friday, March 3 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Application deadline has been extended to Friday, February 10.

Friday Night Celebration
Friday, March 3
6-11 p.m.

Adults can enjoy an in intimate evening of cultural bliss on Friday, March 3 from 6 - 11 p.m. The event will feature various cultural performances as well as a concert on the main stage.

During the Friday Night Celebration, the event will be open to adults 21 years of age and older ONLY. Age verification will be conducted at the gate.

Naturalization Ceremony
Saturday, March 4

Witness the commemorative ceremony as a group of 50 people are sworn in as United States citizens. This ceremony offers a first-hand look at one of the many processes that make our country great. Be there to congratulate the new citizens.


Parade of Flags
Sunday, March 5

Dressed in authentic traditional clothing, representatives from each country will offer a greeting in their native language and proudly carry their flag as they parade marches through the event. This is a great display of the cultural diversity that makes up our great city.

Tickets will go on sale February 1 and can be purchased online in advance or at the gate during the event.
